Mahama Unveils NDC's Vision for 2024: A Blueprint for Prosperity and Integrity

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) launched its 2024 manifesto today, August 24th, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium of the University of Education, Winneba, located in the Central Region of Ghana.
The event, attended by party officials, supporters, and dignitaries, marks the official start of the NDC’s campaign for the upcoming general elections.
The manifesto, which has been eagerly anticipated, outlines the party's plans and policies aimed at addressing the nation's economic challenges and fostering sustainable development.
NDC flagbearer and former President John Dramani Mahama, in his speech, declared, "This manifesto is a blueprint for building a prosperous and inclusive Ghana where every citizen can thrive."
He emphasized the party's commitment to education, healthcare, infrastructure, and job creation, stating, "We will prioritize these sectors to ensure that every Ghanaian, regardless of background, has access to opportunities for a better life."
Former President Mahama also vowed to tackle corruption and restore integrity in governance, asserting, "We will root out corruption and restore trust in our public institutions."
The launch event also featured cultural performances, symbolizing the party’s deep connection with the people and their traditions.
As the political landscape in Ghana heats up ahead of the 2024 elections, the NDC's manifesto launch is expected to galvanize its base and set the tone for the campaign.
Party officials urged supporters to rally behind the manifesto and work tirelessly to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
